If you like that, you'll love Gooch. Brandon "Gooch" Hahn (33) hails from Toledo, Ohio and has been a radio fixture for many years in Las Vegas. The man is a well-known comedian who's just getting major breaks at casino comedy clubs after playing tons of local haunts. I sat down to have a brief chat with Gooch about what he's got going now, and what we can look forward to from him in 2013. FT: The last time I spoke with you was in 2011 at Comics Under the Influence show in Vegas. What is going on with you now and where can fans see you? BH: CUI WOW?! That was a long time ago. How drunk was I? Nothing much has changed. I’m still with KOMP 92.3 and still grinding away at stand-up. I’ll be featuring at the Laugh Factory (inside the Tropicana) March 25th – 31st and I’ll a

Veteran Vegas Comic Diaz Mackie Launches "Bad Decisions" Tour, and Won't Tell His Porn Name

Diaz Mackie at Sapphire Comedy Hour Vegas  now on "Bad Decisions" Tour - Photo by Frankie Tease A little over a year ago I saw a couple sets from Diaz Mackie and saw how much he was versatile with every audience. He had been in Vegas working hard for over seven years. Recently he came back to do a week, and I caught up with him at the Sapphire Comedy Hour at Sapphire Strip Club on Industrial. The room was pretty great, and his set was hilarious. I caught some video, photos, and later caught some patio time with this now very national headlining touring comedian. One of the questions is "what is Diaz Mackie's porn name"? Need I say more? FT: How do you keep your material original, fresh? DM:They come from me. I come off of my own experiences and exaggerate it. I take something from every day and make notes. FT:Do you write a lot down? DM:I don't. I take mental notes. FT:You don't write your ideas down? Do you have a photographic

The venue and local bar is suited to hold at least 200 people, 100 of which can sit near the stage. The first weekly show of "Comics Under the Influence" kicked off May of 2010. Rivkin wanted to create a Comedy show with a Rat Pack, a Rock N Roll touch, and definately an uncensored agenda. "C.U.I. is the brand like  Oceans Eleven " Rivkin states. Eddie is originally from Detroit MI. and spent several years as a Casino Executive until becoming a comedy show producer. " The Comics Under the Influence Show gives people the comedy show and jokes that comics tell each other to make each o

Whitney Streed Comedy Interview

Whitney Streed is a prominant comedy performer in the Portland Oregon Burelsque circuit who is also dabbling in combining Burlesque & Stand-up comedy. Frankie Tease sat down to ask this busy gal a few questions about comedy and burlesque, why she moved to Portland, OR., and what she has in store for you as her audience. FRANKIE-When did you get started in stand up comedy and what or who inspired you? WHITNEY-I started doing stand-up about two years ago. I had a job where I had a lot of free time but I couldn't seem to find any kind of creative outlet, even though I was craving some kind of art. I had thought about doing stand-up kind of in the back of my mind, but hadn't seriously considered it. Then one day I had this weird experience where I was wearing this shirt and I thought, "I should wear this when I try an open mic." By the end of the day I was like, "No.You should do it now. Now is the day. Go and do it!" And so I wrote a set list in a
