Elvis Has Left the Building

That's right folks, "Viva Elvis" the flop of Cirque De Soleil has left the building. Did anyone notice? Probably not as the glitz and glam of the new spectacular $22 Billion budget show "Zarkana" has taken it's place at Aria. Viva Elvis' last performance ran Aug. 31, while Zarkana openened at Aria last weekend. I guess flying Elvis's isn't what audiences were after. Looks like it's good that Cirque is sticking with what it knows best: fantasy-world acrobats and circus.

Legends Leaves Harrah's

The "Legends" show enjoyed a record-breaking four years at Harrah's and has announced this will be the end of its run. Though the Legends show is a franchise that may show up elsewhere the last date played at Harrah's for the show will be Dec. 30, 2012. Catch impersonators of everyone who's anyone on the Legends stage, with live-music and vivacious singer-impersonators. From Nov. 23 you will see impersonator acts as scheduled including: Adele, The Blues Brothers™, Whitney Houston, Barry White, Justin Timberlake, Michael Jackson and Elvis, performing at 7 and 9:30 p.m. nightly except Saturdays. Nov. 24- Dec.30 beings the Legends Holiday Tribute for its final Harrah's appearence.

Taylor Leaves Zowie Bowie Previously engaged Marley Taylor and Chris Phillips came to Vegas 2006 and have been busy ever since. They have had long runs at many venues including Summerlin's Red Rock Casino. After her marriage to the hip-hop power cover bands' bassist in July, Taylor will make her last appearance as one half of the successful duet this Saturday. Zowie Bowie will live on with friends and Vegas Strip singers making appearances at already scheduled shows with the bands' creator and half of the power-duo Chris Phillips.

The club is well-known in town, for topless entertainment and great bottle and V.I.P. service. It also just opened a topless (pastied) pool and dayclub which is very fun. But even more new, they have been rolling out a show in the state-of-the art (wicked comfortable) Sapphire Showroom a few feet from the main entrance. I attended the Media Night for Sapphire Comedy Hour , hosted by the Producer/Director of the show Brett Feinstein (son of the owner). 24 hr.Vegas Strip Club Opens Day Club "Sapphire Pool", Cinco De Mayo Wknd. 2013

The largest topless strip club in the world just got larger, and it decided to go outside to expand. The club was 70,000 feet before and boasts topless dancers, and an all male review for the ladies in a separate showroom. It even has a comedy and variety show. Several stages, 400 entertainers and open 24 hours, many could ask how that could be improved. Enter the great outdoors. The $8 million day club is pretty swanky. The cabanas are lush and plenty. Comfort? Yes. Completely separate but visible VIP? Yes. On-site grill, tons of shower fountains and also lovely water falls mixed with a full bar and amazing service will obviously be one of the hottest new and lasting clubs in Las Vegas. The 800 capacity pool area will be a go-to spot, especially after the launch they have planned. What sets it apart? Sapphire Comedy Hour - Surprise: A Strip Club with Good Entertainment

I was invited by the headliner to interview him at a new to me comedy show in Vegas. I understood this, it was a comedy show at a strip club. Being an ex-stripper, I liked the idea right away. Little did I know it was star-studded with variety acts and comedians. Awesome. I walked through the strip club. Not just any, it's the largest strip club in the world which also features male strippers. Topless dancers were working to my left as I was escorted by the concierge to the showroom separate from the main floor. The showroom was huge. This is the room that houses the male review at 10pm, but preceding it was the comedy show which is a weekly Friday 8:00pm show. A local comedian Ricky Byrne (Host of Mood Comedy Dinner Show at the Artisan Hotel Las Vegas) was the feature of the show and started things off with some urban humor.
